Macmillan Coffee Afternoon

Time for care

What a lovely afternoon it was sharing our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon with our clients, relatives, staff, and friends.
We raised a total of £148.45 for Macmillan today. We are really pleased with that. We received some amazing donations of beautiful homemade cakes and an absolutely amazing fruit hamper.

We held our coffee morning at the Church Hall in Bear Street, Nayland. This was an ideal setting for it to take place.  The hall was packed with staff, customers, and people from the local community.  It was so lovely to see our customers socialising with each other over a cuppa and some gorgeous cake.  The raffle was also a huge access, thank you to everyone who donated a prize (especially the amazing fruit hamper!).

Our Nayland team all popped in to give a helping hand and our clients took the opportunity to tell Chelsey what a fabulous job they all do. Thank you to Debbie, Karyn and Nicola for stopping by.

Our Nayland Team Leader, Michelle, went to great lengths to make this event a success. From organising transport there and back for those that needed it, to getting the customers and the wider community involved and engaged. Chelsey was there to meet customers and local people and she took some lovely photos (with consent) for our Facebook page. Don’t take our word for it, see for yourself, just follow the FB link to our page. Such was the success of the day, it was clear this would be welcomed as an annual event with some suggestions from our guests to add in some ballroom dance next time. Michelle, her team, and everyone involved in linking people to their local community for this great cause deserves our heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
