October 2020 Customer Newsletter

Time for care

As winter 2020 approaches we know that we are faced with various challenges as a community care provider. Winter challenges include adverse weather conditions, seasonal flu and of course this year we have the added challenge of working through the Covid-19 pandemic. We have been keeping ourselves fully up to date with the latest developments in guidelines and safe practice in terms of our response to the virus. We have also clarified in this edition what is meant by the term ‘Support Bubble’ and how the tier system may impact having visitors to your home. We hope that you find the information informative and useful. We have included some important tips on how older people can keep healthy this winter along with a rather nice recipe to keep you warm through those winter nights. As always we are always here on the other end of the phone if you experience any anxieties or challenges related to Covid-19 or anything else for that matter. If you have any suggestions on how we can improve the newsletter or have anything you’d like to share that could be included in the next edition please get in touch. Additionally if you wish to have the newsletter in a different format or need some help in reading it please don’t hesitate to ask the care staff when they visit. They’ll be glad to help.

Take care and stay safe, from all of us at Nayland Care.
