Gemma Taylor – Administration

Gemma has worked for Nayland Care since September 2015 where she started off as an apprentice. She has worked her way through her apprenticeship and is now our Administrator. Gemma has completed her Level 2 in Business Administration and continues with regular updates to her self-development by attending bespoke courses

Yvonne Goldsmith – Assessment and person-centered care planning

Yvonne has an extensive health care background and completed her psychiatric nurse training in 1983. Since then she has worked in a range of care settings from assessment work to training delivery. Yvonne has completed Diploma’s in Care Management level 2 and 3

Yvette Last – Managing Director

Yvette has been in the care industry for 37 years, and she decided to put her experience into running her own business in 2001, when Nayland Care was established. Alongside qualifications gained when working for the NHS, Yvette has a Higher Diploma in the Management of Care Services. She is also qualified assessor of Health and Social Care diploma and was awarded the Prestige Business Women of the year award in 2005

Chelsey Cookson – Company Director

Chelsey started working with Nayland Care from the tender age of 18.  Having started off at grass roots level Chelsey has learnt all aspects of the company over the years and carved out a successful career in learning and development. Chelsey spent 6 years working for a national training provider as a senior manager.  Her role involved designing and delivering training courses for the external market and managing a large team of health and social care trainers all over the UK.  Chelsey re-joined Nayland Care in January 2019 to support Yvette with the strategic management of the company and to oversee the training provision.

Chelsey has achieved various qualifications over the years including A university degree in dementia care and QCF Level 5 in leadership and management in health and social care NVQ Level 4 in learning and development QCF level 3 in assessing vocational achievement

Tracey Bourne – Lead Co-Ordinator/Care Manager

Tracey has a wealth of knowledge and experience in domiciliary care.  Her experience includes nearly twenty years in the sector including working at a managerial level for a national home care provider.  Three years of Tracey’s career was spent as a health and social care trainer delivering care related courses all over the country.  Being multi skilled, Tracey can turn her hand to many key operations at Nayland Care including co-ordinating, care planning and delivering high quality training for our staff.  Tracey has her NVQ level 2 and 3 in health social care as well as her Award in Education and Training.  Tracey is also completing the her level 5 in leadership and management in adult social care.

Lorraine Saidy – Deputy Manager

Lorraine has worked for Nayland Care since March 2010. She started off as a part time community carer, and has now progressed to Deputy Manager. Lorraine has completed her NVQ Level 5 and is currently in progress working towards her level 7
