Understanding your
home care costs

Time for care

Exploring the costs and funding options for home care can be a little overwhelming, which is why we keep our pricing structure simple and transparent.

We appreciate that deciding to have care at home yourself or arranging visits for a loved one is a big decision. That’s why we have a very straightforward pricing structure.

We do not have different rates for different services.

Every privately-funded care at home visit is charged at the same rate. So there’s no ‘starting from’ fees or question marks over the amount our care at home services cost. The reason for this is quite simple. Our home care plans are holistic, meaning that all our carers are trained in the full range of home care services we offer.

Costings are purely based on the allocated time we spend with you or your loved one, with an hour (or more) visit being the best value for money.

30 minutes £22
45 minutes £27
1 hour £32

We do not believe in inflexible retainers. That’s why our notice period for termination for privately funded care is just 14 days.

An hour’s visit: What support can you expect to receive?

Our team of home carers can achieve quite a lot within an hour. Depending on the support you require, they can help with any of the following:

  • Personal care (helping you with washing, getting changed, managing incontinence and eating well)
  • Domestic home help (cleaning, sorting, washing, ironing, changing beds, etc.…)
  • Collecting and administering medication
  • Mobility support
  • Cooking and meal preparation
  • Companionship (we pair you with carers who we know you will enjoy the company of)
  • Complex care (we have a huge amount of experience in dementia care and palliative care)

Are you able to accept direct payments?

Yes. If you are receiving social services funding support and have chosen direct payments as your payment method, we’re able to accept top-up payments.

Other fees

We have a one-off assessment fee of £60 where we will come out to visit you, assess your care at home needs, and create a bespoke home care support plan.

For local authority-funded clients who opt in to access our customer portal, and for privately funded clients, we also have an ongoing admin fee of £5. This is added to each four weekly invoice and gives you access to an online portal where you can view your:

  • Schedule (which carer will be visiting you and when)
  • Individual care plan
  • Risk assessments
