Home Support Worker
Home Support worker posts – Community Home Care.  We are inviting suitable candidates to consider the personal and financial rewards of working in their local community, visiting older people to help them with personal care needs, some domestic tasks, medication assistance and helping them to stay in touch with their local community. Established in 2001 and registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide a personal home care service across Suffolk and North East Essex. We have around 60 employees serving both Counties, a sound reputation and comparatively low staff turnover. Due to expansion we are looking for the right people to compliment our friendly supportive team. Team Leader/Field Supervisor for Hadleigh and East Bergholt

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to become a team leader for our Hadleigh/East Bergholt team. 

Essential Criteria:

QCF/NVQ level 3 in health and social care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards).

Uk driving license and access to own vehicle

Reliability

Genuine passion for providing good quality care to people in their own homes and enthusing others

 

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in care planning and assessments

Experience in leading a home care team

 

This role includes duties such as:

Being the first point of contact for your team members

Arrange regular meetings with your staff

Assessments – training will be given if you have not done them before.

Care reviews

Direct Observations on staff

MAR sheet checking and auditing

Ensuring care plans are up to date

Ensuring care plans are neat and tidy at all times and ensure they are fully stocked.

Liaising with social workers and other professionals regarding service delivery

On call duties.
